Spanish gets SO much easier if you understand certain basics.

Unlike English where I play tennis, you play tennis, he plays tennis etc. both the pronouns and the verbs (and often the second nouns and adjectives) change with each pronoun. For example I play tennis is Yo juegO tenis. You play tennis is Tu juegAS tennis etc. He plays tennis becomes El juegA tenis etc.

So I wrote all the things I typically do and came up with a prompt. If the activity involves an exception or irregular verb, I set that aside to learn later. Beginner's need to learn basics. You can use this prompt in the free version of Chat to get the same results I did and you will almost immediately learn when to use Yo, Tu, El / Ellas etc. and when to end a pronoun in O, A, As, Amos etc...

BTW, you can cut & paste the response into a Word Document, highlight all the sentences and then right click to get a "Read Aloud" option! It will read the sentences in Spanish with the right accent!

Here is the prompt:

Here are activities I do often (I listed over 20): I play tennis almost daily. I talk with friends often. I study my profession every day, I watch tv with my beautiful wife in the evenings.... (and so on)

Write a sentence for each activity I listed above, in the present tense, first in English and then with the Mexican Spanish translation below it. Below that, include a version that is more common or informal in Mexico, if applicable. I especially want to learn the universal verbs of Ir, Ar and Er. Use the following format Example for each:

I play tennis almost every day (in bold)

Informal translation if applicable, here
